Jizhong Zhu, a leading talent in Guangzhou, serves as Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of South China University of Technology, Head of ISESOOC, and Associate Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of Chongqing University.

He is Chairman of IEEE PES SBLC (China), Editorial Board Member of MPCE, Chairman of IEEE P2781 Load Modeling and Simulation International Standard Working Group; Chairman of IEEE P2783 Rapid Load Response System International Standard Working Group; Member of IEEE SMC Standards Committee and IEEE SMC Smart Power and Energy Systems Committee; Member of Sino-Swiss Smart Grid technical specialist committee; and Member of National DSM Standard Specialist Committee.

He has served as a member of the first National Innovation Award Evaluation Expert Committee, an evaluation expert for various national, provincial and municipal talents and projects, the chairman of the IEEE Power Load Sub-Committee in the United States, and the chairman of the IEEE SBLC Asia-Pacific Working Group.
