Distinguished Professor of “Pearl River Scholar”; Doctoral Supervisor; Deputy Director of Guangdong Key Laboratory of Smart Grid Measurement and Advanced Measurement Enterprises; Bachelor of Zhejiang University; Doctor of Tsinghua University. Yu served as Secretary-General of CES Artificial Intelligence and Electrical Applications Committee, Chair of IEEE PES SBLC Loads Subcommittee (China), and Vice Chair of IEEE PES iGET Flexible Interconnection Subcommittee (China).He focuses on smart distribution network planning and operation technology, and the application theory of artificial intelligence in perception-based power system and decision-making. By far, he has been involved in four NSFC projects, one NSFC joint project, and 15 key science and technology projects supported by two power grid companies. He has published 4 monographs and more than 160 papers in SCI-indexed journals, and has been awarded the Highly Cited Chinese Researchers by Elsevier in 2020. He also received 12 provincial and ministerial awards, including the First Prize of China Electric Power Innovation Award, the Second Prize of China Electric Power Technical Invention Award, and the Third Prize of Jiangsu Science and Technology Award.
